I have been doing hair since I was 17; a long time. I have spent major resources finding and getting a solid education, which took me throughout Europe and had me in NYC teaching for a bit. I've mastered (on going really) both extensive razor work and scissors cuts, mainly through Bumble and Bumble, some good old-school barbers, and numerous Sassoon courses. Never one to shy away from asking questions and good at cutting through hubris, I have developed a treasure trove of shared wisdom and plain common sense in both color and cutting. Time behind the chair has allowed me to see the longevity of my work - what grows out well and what doesn’t. I have gained invaluable experience in all types of hair textures and life styles, and very importantly, I've honed the ability to really listen. I use Davines Mask color (best pigments on the market) and The New Color (ammonia-free) My  time at Parsons and The New School of Design added invaluably to my understanding of color

I have work in NYC as a educator, built salon traning sytems ,worked on braodway  and a few shoots with Jock Sturges for Russian vanity fair and vogue yet more comfortable just working with my hands and helping people figure out there hair jounrny.Itys amazing  that if your hair just works its one less thing to worry about.

Word to the wise ,I'm not a hairdresser type; I'm more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt, not a fan of gossip rags or celebrity culture. Basically a man who likes handmade things and to work with my hands. Quality over quantity .
